In 2004, Ecendant Interactive participated in a research-driven, full-scale rebranding for metropolitan Washington, DC based Van Metre Homes, one of the divisions of multi-faceted builder/developer The Van Metre Companies. Van Metre is a family-owned organization founded in 1955 with strong community and charity involvement, and a recognized “family-oriented” corporate culture. The rebranding effort concentrated on the company’s positive brand image, local family ownership and – beginning in spring 2005, their 50th Anniversary Celebration. The rebranding for Van Metre Homes was so successful, Van Metre’s executives chose to apply the new branding to all of their corporate divisions, including Van Metre Commercial Properties, Van Metre Management (their apartment and property management division) and their Marquis Custom Homes brand. Ecendant Interactive redesigned Web sites for all these divisions, including the umbrella corporate site, and created various other Van Metre interactive and direct marketing tools for both consumer and business-to-business advertising.
