A Customer Extranet is a great tool for customers who have just purchased a home from you. This is a personalized, password-protected area on the web site where customers can:

• See their construction schedule (stages and current status)
• Look at photos of their home as it's being built
• Access contract, settlement, customer service, and other documents
• Find out information on Referral or Repeat Buyer Programs, Design Center Options/Process, and a purchasing guide that sets expectations

The Customer Extranet also includes a Content Management Tool so that homebuilder staff can upload documents, post messages and meeting dates, and upload build progress photos for customers. Note that the extranet is especially useful for Active Adult or Resort community buyers since it allows them to look at their home’s build progress and access documents online without having to go on site.
